Limiting police power in schools is a win for some and a step back for others

For years, D.C. council members have debated whether or not local police officers should be in schools. Some feel as though police presence in schools is necessary. On the other hand, some local organizations feel as though police within schools contribute to the school-to-prison pipeline.
